Elon Musk has attracted a wealth of talented people to SpaceX over the years, but those engineers and executives haven't all stuck around since then. But, where do you go when your last job was helping launch rockets and sending humanity beyond Earth? Check out some of the unlikely places these former big names SpaceX have landed. Blake Benthall - Though a flight software engineer at SpaceX for just a few months, leaving in March of 2014 Benthall is worth mentioning on a list of alumni of SpaceX. In November, 2014, Benthall was arrested on the charge of running the dark web drug marketplace Silk Road 2.0. Since then, he seems to be involved in working on a deal with the prosecution, and getting engaged. Lawrence Williams - The former vice president for strategic relations at SpaceX, Williams was one of the founding executives at the company, working there for a little over eight years, until 2012. He's actually still a shareholder, but he now runs his own aerospace  business company, Capture10. He now lends his expertise to other companies interested in the aerospace field, with the cachet of SpaceX undoubtedly a big help. Dolly Singh - The head of talent acquisition at SpaceX for over five years, Singh was poached in 2013 by Oculus to handle its talent, but she eventually left to focus full-time on her own company, Thesis Couture. Singh created Thesis as a way to apply engineering thinking to high heel shoes, creating "performance driven stilettos." Robert Rose - Rose has a long history working with Elon Musk. He left a job with Sony Playstation to become a software engineer at SpaceX in 2009, rising to become the director of flight software before leaving in 2014. He was out of Musk's circle for less than a year before ending up running the Autopilot program at Tesla Motors. But he was only there for six months before getting snapped up by Google for its robotics division just a few months ago. Adam Lichtl - SpaceX's director of research for three year, Lichtl left last August. He founded his own company, Delta Brain, to apply engineering to neurology, researching ways to improve damaged brains. Branden Spikes - The former CIO at SpaceX, Spikes left in 2012 after almost ten years to found his own technology security company, Spikes Security. His new company is focused on browser security and technology, and has already raised $11 million in funding. Brogan BamBrogan - BamBrogan is still part of Musk's world as the co-founder of Hyperloop Technologies. He started the transportation company after a decade at SpaceX as a senior engineer and still works closely with Musk as part of putting together the futuristic transport.
